Agusta A139 Helicopters for Sale
See Agusta A139 helicopters for sale here. AgustaWestland first introduced the Agusta A139 helicopters in 2003. This is a twin engine helicopter with 15 seats. The helicopter was created to serve a number of different markets such as corporate transportation, law enforcement, emergency medical transport, offshore transport, search and rescue, fire fighting, maritime patrol and more.
The A139 includes 2 PT6C turbo shaft engines controlled by a FADEC which performs a number of tasks. It provides adjustments to the engine automatically and seamlessly for the comfort of passengers and the convenience of pilots. If the helicopter experienced a single engine failure then the FADEC manages this almost unnoticed.
You will usually find a four-axis autopilot in the glass cockpit of the A139. This enables the aircraft to auto-hover and more. The design of the cockpit enables one pilot operation using instrument flight rules. The A139 is famed for having the biggest cabin in class, accommodating 15 passengers with an additional compartment for baggage.
The A139 has a range of around 660 miles with a maximum speed of approximately 193 miles per hour. Maximum cruise speed is about 190 miles per hour and the helicopter can climb at a rate of 2,140 feet per minute. It will accommodate two crew and 15 passengers and is used around the world in the civilian and government markets.
