This position is part of the Quality Assurance Support Team for the F-35 Flight Test Program at Edwards AFB CA and will be responsible for aircraft support / test equipment inspections. Experience in component removal/replacement scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTDs) and aircraft modification execution. Technical requirements also include verify fault isolation, troubleshooting, and inspection and verification of repair of system failures detected during operational checks associated with modifications and restoration of aircraft to flying condition subsequent to accomplishment of modifications and maintenance. Interprets and uses various test equipment and works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals. Must be willing to train and assist in multiple disciplines. Selected candidate will have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft. Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. Perform Process compliance audits.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist with and without fall protection devices. Candidate must be able to use computer systems such as but not limited to ALIS, WISE, JTD efficiently

Basic Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.
- Experience with aircraft related maintenance.
- Experience conducting in process, verification inspections
Desired Skills:- Experience with military aviation flight line
Previous flight line experience on Fighter Aircraft. Previous awarded 7 Skill level or higher USAF AFSC, Navy/Marine NEC, QAR CDI or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate.
• Have previously worked in a Flight Test operation.
• APG/TAMS. Aircraft systems, associated support and test equipment, and on and off aircraft inspections.
• Specific Flight Test experience highly preferred. Basic knowledge of Low Observable coating application, flight test instrumentation, and weapons loading/unloading.
• Experience with aircraft mods will be a plus. Experience with Power Plant, Flight controls, Environmental Systems, and Phase inspections. Working level knowledge on Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management.
• Knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
• Fluent or working knowledge of F-35 ALIS system highly desirable

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
