Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Huey II Job in Beirut, International International with Black Hall Aerospace, Inc.

Summary Description of Position:
The Aviation Maintainer will perform a variety of Huey II aircraft maintenance, production, and custom project work; including aircraft inspection maintenance, avionics installations, powerplant maintenance, and structural modifications/repairs. The Maintainer must be able to troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft systems, and aircraft components in accordance with policies, procedures, and specified requirements.

#9679; Adhere to policies and procedures in the BHA Employee Manual, FAA Repair Station Manual, and the OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Standards for General Industry;
#9679; Interact with co-workers, supervisors, and customers as required.
Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor necessary for the normal day-to-day operation, not determined at time of hire.
Minimum Requirements:
#9679; 4 years Huey II experience in aircraft maintenance
#9679; Military Technical School or A P License.
#9679; Highschool diploma required, Associate Degree preferred
Travel Requirements:
This position requires residency in Lebanon. Some of the travel is international.
Required Skills:
#9679; Equipment Maintenance Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
#9679; Performs limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment.
#9679; Safely prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services.
#9679; Repairing Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools.
#9679; Operation Monitoring Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a system is working properly.
#9679; Troubleshooting Determining causes of operating errors and understanding what to do to fix the issue
#9679; Individual must have basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers
#9679; Complex Problem Solving Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
#9679; Work according to written and/or verbal instructions.
#9679; Performs all work assigned in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
#9679; Records work performed and assumes responsibility for that work as indicated by his/her signature.
#9679; Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections
#9679; Uses blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and Maintenance Manuals in performance of assigned duties.
#9679; Performs touch up painting as needed, (within task area).
#9679; Must maintain A P license in a current status and carry it on their person when at work.
#9679; May do experimental and developmental work as assigned.
#9679; Must have working knowledge and the ability to service troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft system, and aircraft components. Heavy phase maintenance experience on other military aircraft types may be considered.
Work Environment:
This position is located in the country of Lebanon. BHA will provide life support services such as off-base housing, off post meals, transportation, and security.

Use industry-standard hand and machine tools and measuring tools for validation of parts and materials.
