Description:This mechanic maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electrical and mechanical systems, wiring, equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, communication systems, and navigational systems). The successful incumbent applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of circuitry and performs installation and maintenance using hand tools and common test equipment (e.g., digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes, fuel test and flight control test equipment). Repair or replacement of aircraft system components such as flight controls, power plant (engine/APU), hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and other system components. The incumbent of this position applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and relies on comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures maintenance manuals.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:- Must have Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- Minimum 5 years intermediate level Avionics/Electrical repair or modification experience required.
- Must be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals / technical orders.
- Applicant must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, multi-meters and crimping tools.
- Applicant must be able to travel as required.
- Applicant must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Applicant must be able to work extended/multiple shifts as required for delivery schedule/budget.
- Candidate must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
-This job requires working knowledge of technical publications and will be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
-Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
Desired Skills:- H-60 experience preferred
- Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training desired.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Rotating 40 hour week as assigned by leader
