The
Aircraft Technician is responsible
to perform structural/electrical customizing work on an aircraft in accordance
with development or approved data and in accordance with approved standard.
This position reports to the Director of Maintenance/Shop Floor Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Conduct customization tasks in
support of schedule. - Interpret drawings, blueprints
and installation instruction - Removal and disassembly of a/c
structural parts and installed assembly as preparation for to be installed
customized alterations - Modify aircraft structures in
accordance with the drawings and instructions. - Rectify structural parts to
ensure correct fit and installation - Check quality and functionality
of the structural installation - Analyze mechanical and
operational problems - Modify aircraft electrical
installation in accordance with the drawings and instructions. - Build and route harnesses, place
and install the designed electrical systems. - Validate correctness of system
installation. - Check quality and functionality
of the electrical system - Analyze potential electrical and
avionics operational problems - Coordinate with engineering
alteration to the installation if needed - Complete all required paperwork
- Accurately record time worked on
a work order - Responsible for the proper use
and operation of all personal protective devices - Maintain a clean and safe work
environment
Job Requirements
Education:
- Avionics
High School Certificate
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft
maintenance experience to include structural and electrical installations - Proficiency reading and
interpreting blueprint drawings - Good communication skills
- Computer skills
- Driving License B
- Ability to work independently
and within a team - Demonstrated
problem-solving capability
- Minimum of 2 years’ aircraft
