Central Copters, Inc. is an FAA approved Air
Carrier (FAR Part 135), Certified External Load Operator (FAR Part 133), and contracted with
the USFS for Fire Fighting Operations.
We are accepting resumes for long term, self-motivated, full-time leadership positions as an Airframe
and Powerplant Mechanic.
Successful applicants will be expected to travel and maintain our fleet of aircraft in the field during fire season and work in our well-equipped hangar during the off-season winter months.
A P Mechanic duties will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components
- Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (A D's) (with in-scope of approval) Returning aircraft to service
- Preform scheduled + unscheduled maintenance
- Maintaining GSE Equipment
- Working in outside and inside environments (Snow/Heat
- Overtime opportunities and weekend work options
- Well-equipped and supportive hangar resources and environment
Job Requirements
Qualifications:- Current FAA A P License with a minimum of 12 month as a Licenses A P Mechanic with some helicopter experience
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a Class A CDL Hazmat.
- Pass a Pre-Employment drug test as well as random testing.
- Self-Motivated Leader with detail-oriented qualities
- Be able to perform lifting capabilities 75lbs, bend, stoop, squat, walk, stand, kneel, crunch, craw, and reach as required
- Work well with others
- Ability to relocate to the Gallatin Valley Area
- Training provided for applicants for CDL/Hazmat, previous USFS carding, and Manufacture factory training.
