Job Responsibilities:

-Oversee the daily functions of the Finance area

-Lead finance department direct report team members

-Assist Controller in major management decisions

-Provide backup for Controller in his/her absence

-Annual preparation of SOXA review ensuring compliance with the same

-Working with your team as well as supervising them

-Oversee the annual Hard Close Review and associated functions

-Interpretation and communication of various accounting rulings

-Interface with various auditing teams to ensure compliance with external and internal policies, procedures and rulings.

-Translation of facts and statistics into trends and relationships to guide senior management in directing the business

-Participate and support efforts to ensure successful completion of Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) requirements

-Miscellaneous duties as assigned

-10 travel

-Ability to work remotely 25 of the time

 

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience or advanced degree and 3+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CMA/CPA is a plus

-Solid understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting

-Leadership experience

-Ability to anticipate, analyze, and resolve financial issues

-Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Office applications
