Specialist, Accounting Job in Remote City, Connecticut United States with Raytheon Technologies
Job Requirements
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a related Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years w/ a related advanced degree)
- Familiarity with US GAAP Accounting
- Ability to obtain Raytheon sponsored security clearance
- Proven verbal and written communication skills, good business acumen and ability to brief levels of management
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and database reporting skills
- Analytical, planning and organizational skills to problem solve and recommend comprehensive solutions
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of or experience with current finance and accounting systems and month end close procedures
- Experience in SAP and/or HFM is a plus
- CPA and/or MBA is a plus
Location:
- Primary office located in Farmington, CT
